As an expat in the Netherlands, I relate to the challenging and sometimes overwhelming transitions newcomers in general, and gifted children in particular, face as they adapt to their new environment, a new social setting, and oftentimes a new language. These insights have led me to focus on international gifted and talented children by creating an international Day a Week program that can meet the needs of the expat community in the Netherlands.

I believe that through holistic and professional support, a child can find his or her aptitude and feel challenged, safe, and motivated. By empowering the child’s creative thinking and offering a tailor-made approach, international gifted and talented students can find their passions and reach their potential.
